Exercise Punch Card
Purchase a 5, 10 or 20 punch card and utilize it for the Hertiage Center exercise classes listed below. Participants no longer need to "register “ for each class session. Just bring your punch card to class and the instructor will take care of the rest. Cards may be purchased at the JCC main reception desk.

Gentle Pilates
Pilates is a form of exercise that strengthens and lengthens the muscles in a balanced way. Enjoy greater flexibility, stronger muscles and a firmer body as a result of pilates. Current student, Debbie Abel, maintains that her balance is much improved due to the class. “Susan Kivett is a wonderful instructor who is always very helpful and I feel much better after every pilates class.” Gentle Pilates is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00 am.
Yoga in Chairs Class
This class offers participants the opportunity to reap the benefits of yoga without getting on the floor. This FREE class is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 - 10:15 with yoga instructor Robin Jaffe in Dance Studio One.

Come and enjoy the multiple benefits of water exercise! The benefits of exercising in the water are many! Aquatic exercise not only enhances your cardiovascular fitness, but it also can improve your muscular endurance and overall strength. Because water provides buoyancy and support for the body, the likelihood of muscle, bone and joint injuries is significantly reduced when exercise is performed in the water.
Instructor Bonnie Pennington leads this FREE class every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:00 pm.
One Hour Total Fitness
One Hour Total Fitness is a conditioning class working on muscle strength & endurance balance and flexibility. Bring a bottle of water, wear comfortable shoes and clothes.
This one hour class is offered on Monday and Wednesday at 11 am. Studio 2
Kinesis
Kinesis is an alternative form of personal training with an emphasis on controlled movements developing strength, balance, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. Core muscles work as an integrated unit, balancing strength gains across all of the involved muscles. Class will take place in the brand new Kinesis Suite in the Center for Health and Human Performance. Try one class at no charge!
Classes are held Fridays at 11:00 or 11:30 am.
Tai Chi
Medical research shows Tai Chi can improve balance, cardiovascular health, boost the immune system, improve sleep, slow bone loss; reduce anxiety and depression, and so much more. Come to class in comfortable clothing, ready to breathe, relax, and “play”. The key to success with Tai Chi is to come for no other reason than to loosen up and “play”.
Classes take place in the Multi-Activity Center Mon/Wed at 9:00am.
