Book Club is Back! Sue Stonefield is bringing her talents to the Heritage Center! Sue taught English and reading in the Shawnee Mission School District for many years. The Book Club will meet the first Thursday of the month at 1:00pm. All books are provided by the Heritage Center through the Johnson County Library, Book Club To Go Kits. The Heritage Singers... ...are not your mothers sing along group! A new musical group is alive and well in the Heritage Center. This interactive group sings, shares musical trivia, and is currently singing and discussing the famous works of composers and lyricists of the Broadway stage. Experience the camaraderie and gain some insight into the wonderful world of music with Barbara Katz on Wednesdays at 11:00 am and continue the fun with lunch at noon.
Drama Class Join Marilyn Harrison for an hour of drama! With twenty years experience as a drama instructor and director we are thrilled to have her expertise! Currently with the Barn Players, Marilyn will lead a fun filled class every Monday at 11:00 am in Conference Room A. There is no charge for this class and walk-ins are always welcome.
Games Join us for games including Poker, Bridge, Rummy Q, and Mah Jongg on various days throughout the month.
Open Bridge Wed 1:00pm - 4:00pm Need some practice time? Beginners and advanced beginners come together for learning and fun in this "no pressure" enviroment. New players welcome.

The S.M.A.R.T. Men (Sports Minded Adults Reminiscing Together) meets once a month on Tuesdays. Gentlemen gather in the Multi Activity Center, in the White Theatre wing, from 9 - 9:30 am for a complimentary continental breakfast. A guest speaker follows at 9:30 am. All men age 65+ are invited to attend. Reservations are required and may be made by calling 913-327-8046. There are no membership fees required and one does not have to be a Center member.
