Quality early childhood experiences have an enormous inpact on children's lifelong learning and positively contribute to their health and development. The CDC's mark of quality benefits children with greater readiness for and success in school. The CDC not only met the NAEYC program criteria, but in many core areas, exceeded the standards with a score of over 100%.

The Kansas Quality Rating System (KQRS) is a quality rating system for child care programs. The KQRS assessment rates overall quality of teacher/child interactions, the learning environment and program administration. The CDC has acheived the highest possible rating of Five Stars.
