The JCC's Child Development Center provides a secure environment that allows children of all backgrounds to reach their full potential. The Child Development Center Preschool is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and 5 stars in Quality Rating System (QRS). The curriculum, based on Jewish traditions and values, is designed for children of all faiths and cultures to promote self-esteem, independence, cooperative skills and the ability to problem-solve. Children of all backgrounds thrive in our warm, vibrant environment.Age appropriate activities are offered and the facility has been designed using child-appropriate equipment and decor.

Ages: 12 months (and walking) to Pre-Kindergarten
Full time pre-school plus extended hours: 5 days, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
Part time pre-school: 3/4 or 5 half day, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, optional afternoons available.
The CDC holds accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC accreditation for young children represents the mark of raising the level of quality in early childhood education programs. Quality early childhood experiences have an enormous inpact on children's lifelong learning and positively contribute to their health and development. The CDC's mark of quality benefits children with greater readiness for and success in school. The CDC not only met the NAEYC program criteria, but in many core areas, exceeded the standards with a score of over 100%.
The Kansas Quality Rating System (KQRS) is a quality rating system for child care programs. The KQRS assessment rates overall quality of teacher/child interactions, the learning environment and program administration. The CDC has acheived the highest possible rating of Five Stars.
