Ma'asim Tovim
("Good Works")
Entering 7th - 8th Grade
Care about people who are hungry, homeless, elderly, or "differently-abled!" Join Ma'asim Tovim for a summer of Xtreme Involvement.
-
Ma'asim Tovim is a fun and challenging camp; participants must demonstrate the maturity and capability to be part of a caring team, and to appropriately represent The Center in diverse social service placements.
-
Each session, you will partner with different agencies. You will learn about each agency and the need it addresses; provide volunteer service; create special projects or collect items; make presentations to younger campers.
-
We partner with agencies such as reStart, Village Shalom, Harvesters, Ronald McDonald House, El Centro Academy for Children, and others.
-
Each camp day also includes a recreational activity such as Incred-A-Bowl, a Royals game, Worlds of Fun and sports ‘n’ games.
-
Camp is limited to 28 participants supervised by 4 young adults.
-
Participants receive certificates of community service.
-
Parents AND campers are required to attend an orientation meeting on June 9 at 7 pm.
