Theatre Camp

Entering 3rd - 8th Grade

Theatre Camp @ The Center! is returning with a summer of adventure, song, and drama in the Lewis & Shirley White Theatre.

Theatre campers will have an opportunity to participate in several areas of the arts. Featured parts are assigned based on age appropriate in-class auditions as well as attendance. Regular attendance is mandatory for the success of the final performance on the last day of camp.

These camps include a lunch period and free swim each day. (No swimming on final day due to performance.) Bring dairy or pareve (non-meat) lunch or purchase lunch from The Center.

Session I: June 14 - 25
Dazzle with Disney 

Entering 3rd - 8th Grades
Two-Week Session
9:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday
Final performance June 25 @ 3:00 pm  

Sing and dance to popular Disney tunes as you learn about the magic of Musical Theatre!  Participants will be invited to make a special appearance in an upcoming CenterSeason show!

Session II: June 28 - July 9

Two-Week Session
9:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday No camp 7/5
Final performance July 9 @ 3:00 pm

Disney Drama
Entering 3rd - 4th Grades
Learn about theatre and play drama games with a Disney theme. Campers will also participate in short plays based on familiar Disney stories (directed and adapted by campers in Session II Beauty and the Beast camp).

Beauty and the Beast - Look Inside the Castle!
Entering 5th - 8th Grades
Go behind the scenes to learn about putting on a production from start to finish.  Learn from theatre professionals working on the CenterSeason production of "Beauty and The Beast".  Use what you learn to direct short plays for campers in the Session II Disney Drama camp.
