
Tikvah Dancers / Israeli Folk Dance
Fun for all Ages!
Tikvah Dancers is an Israeli performing dance group for adults and teens. Israeli Dancing is open to the community and meets 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Tuesday in the upstairs dance room (Studio 1) at the Jewish Community Center. The first hour focuses on beginner dances with more teaching. The second hour focuses on intermediate and advanced dances.

Shireinu
Shireinu (the Hebrew word for "Our Song") is the Jewish Community Chorale of Greater Kansas City. Shireinu brings together Jewish singers from all parts of town to perform and promote Jewish choral music. The group is committed to providing holiday and entertainment programs to those living in retirement communities and nursing homes, as well as to all members of the Jewish community by presenting programs for major life-cycle events. Shireinu also participates in many diversity and harmony programs geared toward educating non-Jewish audiences about Jewish heritage through the use of choral music.
