Youth Sports & Recreation
It's a brand new approach to children's sports at the Jewish Community Center. The Jewish Community Center's Center for Health and Human Performance staff has created a new and exciting set of programs.
The Center's 5 sports seasons are coordinated so a child can participate in as many as he or she wants to without overlapping sports.

Athlete Performance Academy with Coach Corie Henry
Athletes will participate in various drills and conditioning obstacles to influence the development of fast twitch muscles and explosiveness. Students will be teamed within their age group and skill level. Athlete assessments are the first day of class and every 4 weeks.
Due to demand of our program, we must evaluate and select athletes ages 10 and up. Parents will receive progress reports on their youth athlete.
The athlete is expected to attend 3 days of off-season training per week and 2 days of in-season training per week. Regular attendance is essential to the success of each athlete. Acceptable athletic attire is shorts or sweats, t-shirt, and running or cross-training, flat soled, athletic shoes.
