Here is a program that is perfect for the intermediate to advanced level basketball player looking to take their game to the next level. Coaches help players develop their individual and team skills focusing on ball skills, scoring and player movement. A variety of programs are offered throughout the year.

Skill Builders Basketball Academy Coaching Staff
Bob Hennecke is currently the JCC's Sports and Recreation Program Coordinator. He has over 20 years of basketball coaching experience working with children of all ages. He was the boys varsity basketball coach at the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy for 15 years and the JCC Boys Maccabi basketball coach for 11 years.
Leslie Berger was an outstanding prep player at Pembroke Hill and then played for Washington University in St. Louis. Leslie went on to play professionally oversees before becoming a coach. She has been on the staff at the University of Missouri and at Washington University. She has coached at camps all over the country as well coaching teams at the AAU level.
Eric Stamps has coached basketball on the high school, college and professional level as well as trained basketball players at all levels for the past 13 years. Eric played at Barton County Community College and Texas College. He is currently the head boys basketball coach at the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy and the head coach for the boys Kansas City Pump and Run AAU basketball team. Kansas City Pump and Run has produced players such as Tyrell Reed (KU), Brady Morningstar (KU), Travis Releford (KU), Marcus Denmon (MU), Mike Dixon (MU) and Trevor Releford (Alabama). Coach Stamps also trains with professional players in the NBA and overseas. He has worked with such pros as Kirk Hinrich, Paul Pierce, Billy Thomas, Kevin Garnett, Nick Bradford, Casey Crawford, Aaron Miles and others.
Terry Nooner is a graduate of the University of Kansas and as a member of the men’s basketball team, Terry learned first hand from Hall of Fame coach Roy Williams about how to build and run a successful program. Terry is currently the head coach of the Lady Phenom AAU team based out of Missouri and the president of KC Pro Am, Inc. which is a local non-profit organization offering affordable basketball instruction in the Kansas City area. Terry specializes in one-on-one and small group instruction and has worked with present and former NBA players like Chancey Billups, Tyronn Lue and Billy Thomas.
